Mezzotint printed in colors, circa 1918, Vervoorn 13, edition unknown. 10 x 7 1/8 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a very good impression printed on Japanese paper. The margins are full. There are two skilfully repaired splits along the platemark, top and bottom. There are also a few subtle printing creases in the image, mostly in the sky at right. This superbly crafted, Vermeer-like image is a tribute to Everbag's virtuosity in a variety of intaglio printmaking methods. He's best known for his color etchings.       $900
