Drypoint and roulette printed from two plates, 1934, Laboureur 494 (i/II), edition 22. 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 in. Signed in pencil and also inscribed "1/84". This is a superb impression of this rare, delicate print. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. There were five proofs of the first state, before the reflection in the mirror was fully developed, as here. The edition was not fully printed and according to the catalogue, the numbering stopped at 16/84. A drawing study exists for this print.

The condition is fine. The total edition over the three states in 138. The scene is la Pâtisserie Mangin, Rue de Havre, Paris.

Woodcut and lithograph printed in colors, 1902-11, Laboureur 617 (ii/II); edition 20. 17 1/4 x 10 7/8 in. Signed in the image in the lower right corner with the monogram. Signed in ink, lower left, and numbered below from the edition of twenty. The impression is fine and the margins are probably full. There's a small repair in the right margin, well away from the image. This exceptional and large print is quite uncommon. There were two additional proofs in the first state in black and white.

Engraving with roulette work, 1925, Sylvain Laboureur 305 (iii/III), edition 37. 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 in. Initialed and dated in the plate and signed in pencil. This is a fine impression in fine condition. The margins appear to be full. The intended edition was 45 but only 37 impressions were printed. This print shows the second home of Marie Laurencin in Champrosay, near Draveil, 7 Rue Alphonse Daudet.

This is a fine impression printed with light plate tone. The margins are full and the condition is fine apart from faint toning within an earlier mat opening. This print was the Print Club of Cleveland Publication No. 13 for the year 1935.

Woodcut, 1898, Laboureur 579, edition 61. 8 3/4 x 11 3/8 in. Signed in the block, lower left, with his monogram. Signed and numbered in pencil. This is a very fine impression printed on laid paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent other than for a tiny repaired tear in the lower margin. This stellar woodcut was exhibited at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in the spring of 1898. It's illustrated and discussed on page 139 of The Artistic Revival of the Woodcut in France 1850-1900 (1984) by Jacquelyn Baas and Richard Field. Bal Bullier was a ballroom in Paris created by François Bullier in the mid 19th century and it was open until 1940. (Note: the catalogue states an edition of sixty-one impressions but all the numbering we have seen is from an edition of sixty, as here.)

Engraving, 1927-28, Laboureur 360 (iii/III), edition 68. 7 3/4 x 8 1/4 in. Initialed in the plate, lower left. Signed and numbered in pencil below the image. This is a fine impression with probably the full margins, with a deckle edge showing on three sides. The condition is excellent. This charming work was later reprinted in a posthumous unsigned edition of 248 impressions in 1959. There were 17 impressions in the first two states and then,as we have here, an edition of 68. Morbihan is located in Brittany.

This is a fine, rich impression printed on a sturdy wove paper. The margins are wide and probably full. This unusually large work was done as a memory of a previous vacation in Nova Scotia. (There were five additional impressions apart from the numbered edition of 35.)

Engraving, 1925, Labourer 302 (iii/III); edition 100. 6 1/8 x 7 in. Initialed in the plate, lower left. Signed and inscribed, epr. d'artiste 15/15." Here we have a fine impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. The paper bears the watermark RIVES and the blindstamp of the publisher, H. Petit, Editeur, Paris (See Lugt 2021a). At the time of publication, the author of the catalogue raisonné was uncertain as to how many artist's proofs were printed. We now know the number is 15 as seen here.
