Woodcut printed in colors, undated, circa 1910-20, Barton 4, edition unknown. 4 3/8 x 9 1/8 in. Signed in pencil. This is a fine, luminous impression printed on a light cream, thin laid paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This is most likely a study of the artist's daughter, Marjorie. Royds exhibited regularly with the Society of Scottish Artists, the Society of Artist Printers, and Graver Printers in Color. She studied with Frank Morley Fletcher.       $1,300
